Hey, I don’t have a lot of time to talk, but it was really important I reach you. Listen, you are one of the most well-connected persons I know. When you told me you didn’t like your job (you wanted to make more money/ you wanted to have more time with kids), were you serious or were you just kidding?
Great! I think I’ve found a way for you to build a backup career first and eventually get out of your job. What’s your schedule this Tuesday night or Saturday morning? I want to invite you for an open house (share with you some ideas. What is normally a good time for you, evenings or weekends? ) OK, I’ll see you on Tuesday 7:00pm.
Indirect Approach ("Help me")
“John, I recently got involved with this company and I am very excited about what they do to help families. I am in training right now and I need your help” You’ll help me, won’t you?(Pause)
“Well, this program requires me to do 10 on-the-job training appointments, and I want to get this done in the next week. Can you be one of my 10? "
“Nothing much, I’ll come down with my trainer and talk to you for about 45 minutes and hopefully you can give me some feedback (opinion) and referrals. What’s better for you and Cindy? Monday or Wednesday evening?"

谢谢你愿意帮我这个忙！ 什么时间对你合适，平常晚上还是周末？ 我老师周四晚上有空，那个时间行吗？ 好的，那就定在周四晚上吧。 你先生那天晚上在吗？跟你先生讲一下，让他也坐下来听听吧。 男的和女的看问题的角度不一样，他肯定可以问很多不同的问题，我也就学得更多。
